After you have entered your username and password, the computer will automatically send an activation key to your email as a step in your registration process. This is for security reasons to prevent robots and hackers interfering with the site.  So what you need to do is:

1. Go to your email and find the mail from the Peter Lang Systemic Community.

2. Find the red line with all the numbers etc. – this IS your activation key.

3. Click on the red line and follow the instruction (you just have to confirm that you have pressed on it). Then you are through.

4. Next, go to the website again. Go to “log in” and put in your details. Remember to ask the computer to “Remember my details (password and username)”.

5. Now you are logged in.

6. If you still have problems: Make sure that you type the right username and password in that you set up when you started. Many problems in this phase have to do with incorrect typing, so please try again! If it still doesn’t work and you become tired and frustrated and feel like throwing your computer out of the window, please, do the following. Register yourself with a completely new username (new identity) and a brand new password, write these details down before you move on – and then you should be able to create a login for yourself. Then remember to login with the new registration data!
